Notice of the Annual General Meeting – 2025
Notice is hereby given to all the members of Kannada Sangha Toronto that an Annual General Meeting of the Kannada Sangha Toronto for year 2024-25 will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 4.00pm-7.00pm virtually on Zoom platform.
AGENDA
- Procedural Matters – Presiding Officer
- Report from Board of Director
- Report of the Executive Committee (President, Secretary and Treasurer’s Report including Statement of accounts)
- External Audit – KST – 50 Financials audit report
- Constitution amendment sign off and implementation – President, Vijay Bangalore
- Election Process: Online voting only. All the eligible members will receive a google form to exercise their right to vote. Voting will be held only if the number of nominations received exceeds number of vacancies. Please refer to the nomination form. Voting period will be announced, if an election is required.
- Presiding officer to announce team of Executive Committee members 2025-2026
(i) BOD – 2 positions
(ii) President
(iii) Vice President
(iv) Secretary
(v) Treasurer
(vi) Adult Members
(vii) Youth Members – 4 positions
(viii) Youth Volunteers – 10 limit, but has to register on or before last date for nomination.

Notes:
1. Nomination Form: Link to the Nomination Form
2. Nomination Forms along with a brief profile of the candidate and a photograph (optional) to be submitted to, Presiding Officer & Election Officer at the following email address: kst.agm25@gmail.com. Last date for receiving nominations: June 16, 2025
3. The Executive Committee will publish the Names and Profiles of the valid nominees on the KST website and KST newsletter.
4. If a KST member in good standing wishes to discuss at the AGM, any KST related matters with current executive committee please notify such questions by email to kst.president@gmail.com by June 16, 2025. Community may kindly note no ad-hoc questions will be discussed at the AGM.
5. A separate email with zoom meeting information will be sent to all the valid members onJune 20, 2025.
6. Any individual or family that becomes a member after this AGM Notice will not be eligible to vote.

KST Scholarship Awards 2024-25
Students must:
1. Have served as a youth member in Kannada Sangha Toronto and must have active KST Membership in the year 2024 -25
2. Be in Grade 12 and will be entering University or College
3. Eligible students should send resume with the academic achievements to kst.president@gmail.com
4. Write a short paragraph (250 words) about “What does Kannada Sangha Toronto mean to you and how has being a part of it influenced your connection to Kannada culture, language, and community?”
5. Recipient student must to be present in person to receive the scholarship.Last Date: June 14, 2025 Please email kst.president@gmail.com with your resume and short paragraph.

ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ‘ಕನ್ನಡ-ಕಲಿಕೆ’ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಜೂನ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿವರಗಳು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನಂತಿವೆ.
