ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಾಂಧವರೇ, 

ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಮ್ಮಂದಿರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 2025ರ ಮೇ 11ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ತೋರಿದ ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹರ್ಷಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಜೀವಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ವಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘ ಟೊರೆಂಟೋ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಅತೀ ವಿಶೇಷಮಾಡಿ, ಹೃದಯದಾಳದಿಂದ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.

ಯುಗಾದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವರದಿ 

ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ,
ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಭಾನುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ತೋರಿದ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪಂದನೆಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. 

ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆ, ಕಲಾವಿದರ ನಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ತಂಡದ ಶ್ರಮದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನೂ, ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನೂ ತಂದಿತು.

ಯುಗಾದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮ್ಮಂದಿರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, 5 ಕನ್ನಡತಿ ತಾಯಂದಿರು ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

ನಂತರ ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಮ್ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲು ನಾವು ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷ ಮೌನ ಆಚರಿಸಿದೆವು. 

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ಕಲಾತ್ಮಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವೂ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಂತೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಮಯಪಾಲನೆ, ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಹಾಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಯಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯ  ಶಿಸ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಸಾಗಿದ ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾಯಿತು.

ಇನ್ನು ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಂಡಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ರುಚಿಕರವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಹೋಳಿಗೆ ಊಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಾರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ತಿಂಡಿಗೆ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾದ ಮಸಾಲ ವಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋಳಿ ಬಜ್ಜಿಗಳೂ ಸಹ ರುಚಿಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ತಿಂಡಿ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು, ಆಹಾರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿತವಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕರಿಗೆ, ಗೌರವಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ಈ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಕಾರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಇತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಆಶಯ. 

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಸ್ಥರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದರು. ಅವರಿಗೂ ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ನಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಲಿ. 

ಇನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದಾದರೆ, ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ನೃತ್ಯ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರು, ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಹಾಡುಗಾರರು, ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವೂ ಒಂದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಒಂದು ಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಹಳೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಒಂದು ವಿಶೇಷತೆ ಎಂದರೆ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 5 ತಿಂಗಳ ಹಸುಗೂಸಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು, ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರೀಕರೂ ಕೂಡ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು!! ಇದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕೆನಡಾ-ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘದ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅಭಿಮಾನದ ಪ್ರತೀಕ. 

ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ  “ಅಮ್ಮಂದಿರ ದಿನ’ ದ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ, ಅಮ್ಮ – ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನೃತ್ಯ ನಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ನಿನಪಿನಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವಂತಾಯಿತು. ಅಮ್ಮ – ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೇರಿ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಜೊತೆ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. 

ಇಂತಹ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ತರಲು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಇದೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿ, ವಿಜೇತರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಡ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. 

ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ 50 ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ “ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ” ಹಾಗೂ “ಸುವರ್ಣ ಝೇಂಕಾರ” ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 

ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಟಿ ಯ ಯುವ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಪಾಲಕರೂ ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮೀತಿಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. 

ನಮ್ಮ ಸುಮಾರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಾಂಧವರು, ತಾವು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೂಡ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ದಿನ ಸಮೀತಿಯ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ನಮನಗಳು. 

ನಮ್ಮ ಯುವ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ನಡೆಸಿದ “ Food Drive” ಕೂಡ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಧಾರಾಳ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. 

ಹೀಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಯುಗಾದಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದಿತು. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಲಿವೆ.

Kannada Sangha Toronto would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our Kannada Community for the immense love, enthusiasm and overwhelming response you have showed for the Yugadi festival celebration held on Sunday.

The program was a great success and a memorable experience as a result of the show’s intimacy, the loyalty of the artists and the hard work of the management team.

On the occasion of Yugadi and Mother’s Day celebrations, 5 Kanndati mothers lit the lamps to inaugurate the event.

Then, we did one minute silence to remember Pahalgam victims. 

During the event, each artistic performance was unique, and all the programs were carried out continuously as planned. The discipline of organization in all aspects including the timekeeping of the program, stage arrangement, technological support, and inclusion made this program an outstanding program that went on without a hitch.

Coming to the food and snacks, it was prepared so deliciously that everyone appreciated it. Everyone appreciated the “Holige Oota” and the “kattina saaru”. The “masala vade” and “goli bajji” were served for the evening snack were also delicious. Everyone ate the snacks with great joy, and the food arrangement was very beautifully arranged.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, who are the backbone of the Kannada Sangha, who were responsible for the success of the program. We hope that this cooperation will continue through other programs in the future.

In addition, our local businessmen set up stalls with their special products at our program and attracted the attention of Kannadigas. We thank them too. May our relationship with you continue like this.

Now, speaking of our cultural program, our heartfelt gratitude goes to every artist, choreographer, music director, singer, volunteer and performer who contributed to the success of this wonderful program. Each program was different from the other and was a mix of old and new Kannada songs.

One of the specialties of this program is that the cultural program was participated by a child from 5 months old to our senior citizens!! This is a symbol of the admiration that every Canada – Kannadigas have for our organization.

As May second Sunday is celebrated as “Mother’s Day”, it was on the same day of our event.  Many Kannada mothers and children participated in the special program dedicated to Mothers. Heartfelt congratulations to all of you for celebrating this day together with the Kannada Sangha.

We will continuously strive to bring you many more such cultural moments in the future.

In this program, Kannada scholarship distribution to students was held. These students have previously served as volunteers in the Kannada Sangha and have also shown their academic achievements.

On the sports day of the Kannada Sangha, prizes were also distributed to the winners.

The volunteers who helped in the 50th year of the Kannada Sangha “Suvarna Mahotsava” and “Suvarna Vedike Zhenkara” were invited and honored.

Our youth members of KST and their parents also joined hands in this program and helped. Our committee thanks all of them.

Many of our Kannadiga friends, even though they were not volunteers, worked together with the committee on the day of the program. Our respects to each and every one of them.

“Food Drive” was organized by our young members, also concluded successfully. Thank you to all of you who donated generously.

This is how our  Yugadi celebrations at the Kannada Sangha event was a huge success. Such enthusiastic celebrations will definitely contribute to the growth of our organization.
